Instructor: Varsity Coach Rob Walters The Girls Summer Basketball Club is designed for players that will be playing school basketball next season. Focus will be on skill development, team concepts and philosophy, and what it means to be a Charger girls basketball player.

Participants will dive into the exciting and challenging sport of Cross Country. Each session will cover essential running techniques and various training methods designed to enhance their skills. Athletes will engage in different types of training, including easy/base runs, intervals, tempo/threshold workouts, and sprinting. The camp will conclude with a Mini-Meet, where participants can showcase their progress. As part of the registration fee, each participant will receive a t-shirt—please select a size when signing up. Participants should come prepared with running shoes, appropriate workout attire, and a water bottle.

This football program emphasizes both the fundamentals of tackle football and executing plays. Team rosters, assigned by coaches, will rotate weekly, allowing players to gain diverse game experience. Participants will compete against teams from the surrounding area as part of the Wright Co. Youth Football League, playing four Saturday morning games consisting of two 30-minute running halves. Parents are responsible for transporting their child to and from games. Additionally, players will have the exciting opportunity to play during halftime of a home varsity game (date TBD), with free admission for both players and parents. All necessary football equipment, including mouthguards, will be provided.Players only need to bring tennis shoes or cleats (no metal spikes). Personal football equipment is not permitted. Equipment and locker assignments will be distributed during the Equipment Handout on August 25. Attendance is strongly encouraged to ensure players are properly fitted before the first practice. Throughout the season, all football gear will remain in the Middle School locker room.
