D-C Youth Rec Hockey offers kids a fun and supportive environment to learn how to skate and play the game of hockey. The program focuses on skating, individual skills, team play, and scrimmages. No skating experience? No problem—we’ll teach you!

While the full schedule is still being finalized, sessions are tentatively planned for Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings, with separate time slots for Grades K–4 and Grades 5–9 (schedule subject to change).

Wrap up the season with a fun End-of-the-Year Party featuring grade-level scrimmages and an open skate session for families.

Required Equipment: skates, helmet with face mask, and a stick.
Recommended: full set of hockey gear
Jersey: First-year participants must purchase a jersey. Jerseys may be reused in future seasons.
Bonus: Participants receive a FREE Open Skate Pass (valid December–February), distributed at the first practice.
