Chargers ChildcareCharger Kids Club: School-age childcare program Charger Kids Club is a school-age childcare program for preschool through 5th-grade children. We operate before and after school, non-school days, and weekdays in the summer. We understand the privilege and importance of providing care for your children. Each child is unique and special, and we provide programming focusing on social, emotional, and creative development. We are thrilled you have chosen Charger Kids Club as a partner in your child’s early childhood years. Our caring staff offers a wide variety of programming, like arts and crafts, physical education, outdoor games, and so much more! Little Chargers Childcare: Preschool wraparound care program Little Chargers Childcare offers childcare services to enrolled DC Plan and Learn preschool students in two locations: Cokato Elementary and the DC Community Ed. and Early Childhood Center. Our program is a balanced, high-quality opportunity that provides recreation, social skill development, basic skills reinforcement, and academic enrichment. Our dedicated staff provides a nurturing and fun environment for Little Charger Childcare students. While this program is not an extension of preschool, it will include fun theme-based activities that support it. Plenty of time will be dedicated to child-directed play, and children will have opportunities to provide input into the types of activities available. Children must be enrolled in DC Play and Learn Preschool to be eligible for care. If a preschool section is full and your child has been added to a waitlist, families can register for full-time care with Little Chargers Childcare while waiting for a preschool spot. Families can choose between full-time care and preschool days only. Families seeking full-time care will receive registration priority. A rest time is provided daily. We recommend registering for an afternoon preschool class if your child does not nap. Students must be fully potty trained.
