Charger Kids Club is a school-age childcare program for Kindergarten through 5th-grade children. Little Chargers Childcare is a preschool childcare program for three-year-olds* through the first day of Kindergarten. We understand the privilege and importance of providing care for your children. We know each child is unique and special and provide programming focusing on social, emotional, and creative development. The Dassel-Cokato Craft Fair is sponsored by the Dassel-Cokato Early Childhood Advisory Council as a fundraiser. All proceeds from the booth fees and lunchroom food sales go directly to support community early literacy enhancements, preschool and Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) scholarships, playground upkeep, community outreach, and a variety of other programming needs as they arise. At ECFE we understand the importance of the early years in a child’s development. Right from birth you shape your child’s development and set the stage for future learning and growth. This is why we offer a variety of classes that provide information, encouragement, and support for you and your child. All ECFE classes are led by licensed teachers who help children discover and learn through activities and play using art, science, movement, games, and stories. Our teachers create a learning environment where children thrive and parents/caregivers receive information, friendship, and support.

Ages 3-5. Early Childhood Screening is a FREE and simple check to assist parents in improving the educational readiness and health of young children through the early detection of factors that may impede their learning, growth, and development. Screening is ideally performed as close to age 3 as possible, but is mandated by the State of MN to be completed before kindergarten. Early screening can detect possible health or learning concerns to enable a child to get help before they begin kindergarten. DON’T WAIT! Play and Learn Preschool - the first step in your child's educational journey with Dassel-Cokato Schools. We are a public school readiness program for children ages 3 to 5. Understanding that young children learn best through play, your licensed early childhood teachers intentionally design the classroom environment to encourage exploration and learning through play following research-based curriculum and the State on Minnesota Early Learning Standards. Play and Learn Preschool embraces curiosity and hands-on problem solving while providing children with daily opportunities for social and emotional development.

A variety of learning opportunities are offering to students from preschool through high school after school, on non-school days, and during the summer, including recreation, enrichment opportunities & special events. You will find everything from arts, STEM, theatre and music lessons, as well as many athletic activities, like volleyball, ski club, strength & conditioning, football, gymnastics, and football, to name a few.
