Parent Child Swim Lessons
Swimming Lessons
This class will familiarize your child with the water and teach them swimming readiness skills, as well as an introduction to water safety. A swim diaper must be worn for children who are not trained. Parents MUST accompany children in the water. Participants Ages 6 months-4 years learn to: • Feel comfortable & play safely in the water • Blow bubbles & submerge face • Explore floating & gliding on the back & front • Perform combined stroke on front/back with aid

Participants will work on: • Head first entry in compact and stride positions • Perform front and back crawl, sidestroke • Perform open turns on front & back • Swim underwater, 3-5 body lengths • Swim breaststroke, butterfly & elem. backstroke • Flutter & dolphin kicks on back • Survival swim, 1 minute • Perform feet-first surface dive • Tread water using 2 different kicks

Private Swim Lessons – Fall 2025 Private lessons are tailored to meet each individual’s needs and are ideal for parents who want their child to receive one-on-one instruction. While there are no set private lesson times for Fall 2024, we will contact families in the order of the interest list if openings become available in the schedule.

Lap Swim

Lap swimming allows swimmers to build endurance, improve fitness, and enjoy a low-impact, full-body workout. Participants should be comfortable swimming continuous laps and have basic proficiency in at least the freestyle. Whether you're swimming for exercise, training, or rehabilitation, lap swimming provides an effective way to stay active in the water. For the most up to date pool calendar please check the Google Pool Calendar and check back frequently for any changes. BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 3Tuesdays & Thursdays Mornings 6:00-7:00 AMMornings: Enter Main High School SOUTH doorMonday & Wednesday Evenings 6:30-7:30 PMEvenings: Enter EAST PAC Door Dassel-Cokato High School PoolNo need to pre-register. Payments can be made at the pool.Fee per time: $5/youth; $7/adult10-punch passes: $40/youth; $60/adult; $50/ages 62+

Fitness
Enjoy this healthy and low impact water aerobics class. Each class incorporates cardio and resistance training. It is not necessary to know how to swim to take this class. Participate as a walk-in at a rate of $10 per time or sign up for an entire session. Class will be cancelled if the minimum of 5 participants is not reached.
