Level 4 Swim Lessons
Swimming Lessons
Participants will work on: • Head first entry in compact and stride positions • Perform front and back crawl, sidestroke • Perform open turns on front & back • Swim underwater, 3-5 body lengths • Swim breaststroke, butterfly & elem. backstroke • Flutter & dolphin kicks on back • Survival swim, 1 minute • Perform feet-first surface dive • Tread water using 2 different kicks

Parent Child Swim Lessons
Swimming Lessons
This class will familiarize your child with the water and teach them swimming readiness skills, as well as an introduction to water safety. A swim diaper must be worn for children who are not trained. Parents MUST accompany children in the water. Participants 6 months-4 years learn to: • Feel comfortable & play safely in the water • Blow bubbles & submerge face • Explore floating & gliding on the back & front • Perform combined stroke on front/back with aid

Level C Swim Lessons
Swimming Lessons
Age 4-5 This class increases proficiency and builds on the basic skills learned in Level A & B. This course is for those students who are not afraid in the water and have had swim lessons on their own before. Participants will work on:: • Jump into shoulder-deep water with aid • Tread water with aid, 30 seconds • Change direction of travel while on front or back • Front, jellyfish & tuck floats, & recover to vertical position. • Swim on front for 5 body lengths, roll to back, float 15 sec., roll to front, swim for 5 body lengths. To successfully complete Level C student MUST: • Lay comfortably on their back and be able to relax • Put their face in the water and blow bubbles • Put head all the way underwater doing a full bob • Jump off the side of the pool and keep head above water

Participants will work on: • Dive from kneeling or seated position • Use rotary breathing in horizontal position • Perform front & back crawl & elem. backstroke • Flutter, scissors, breaststroke & dolphin kicks • Tread water, 1 minute • Floats: Back, 1 minute; Survival, 30 seconds
