Cheer Team: Summer Program

Grades 6-11
Instructor: DC Cheer Coaches, Stephine Paech & Lexi Wuetrich

The D-C Cheer Team is a sideline and competitive cheerleading program that runs from June through early February. During the fall season, cheerleaders energize the crowd on the sidelines at football games, while in the winter, they compete against other teams across the state.

This summer program is a vital part of the full cheer season, focusing on learning cheers, dances, and team-building while improving skills and conditioning for the months ahead. Summer participation is highly encouraged, but separate registration for the fall and winter seasons (September-February) takes place in late-July and October through the Activities Department.

In addition to regular summer practices at Dassel-Cokato, cheerleaders are required to attend a home Choreography Camp in August prior to the start of the fall season.
