ISD #466: FACILITY USE REQUESTS

Dassel-Cokato Schools recognizes that its buildings and grounds are essential resources that play a vital role in the lives of district residents and organizations. 

FEES:

Rental fees for use of ISD #466 Facilities consist of three components:

PERMIT FEE:

All reservations incur a $10 non-refundable permit fee.  This fee helps cover the administrative costs of processing rental applications and ensures reservation commitments.

FACILITY USE FEES:

The cost per hour/day based on the category a user group falls under.

ADDITIONAL FEES:

Fees incurred through staffing costs based on needs and specific spaces, by group size, or when renting equipment.



SCHEDULING, PRIORITY, & CLASSES:

Priority for scheduling facilities is dependent on which class level the reservation falls under.

CLASS 1:

School functions & events

• Community Education sponsored activities

• Local, state, and national caucuses and elections

• School booster groups
(small audience events and/or fundraisers of less than 200 people)  

CLASS 2:

Located in District 466 and serving a majority of its residents:

• Non-profit groups

• Local youth associations

• Individuals and civic organizations

CLASS 3:

• Located in District 466 conducting activities for profit:

૦ Individuals

• School booster groups
(fundraisers with audiences of 200 or more)

CLASS 4:

Located outside of District 466:

• Non-profit groups

• Civic organizations

CLASS 5:

Located outside of district 466:

• Individuals



FACILITY PRICING:

All fees listed below are daily rate fees unless otherwise noted. Under Class 2, if the space is used on a recurring basis, the fee is the multi-user fee due each trimester, the space is used. Fees listed below do not include possible staffing/equipment charges.

ADDITIONAL FEES/STAFFING:

School equipment has been purchased primarily to operate the district's educational programs. However, the opportunity to use equipment needed in conjunction with rental request can be scheduled with the Community Education office at the time the rental application is submitted. The renting party is responsible for damage or loss of all equipment. 

STAFF FEES:

Custodial- Could include opening or closing a building, set-up, clean-up, or presence during a time when not otherwise staffed. $53/hr per custodian.

Food Service- Required to be present whenever a school kitchen is reserved. Any additional work required by food service staff will be discussed during the reservation process. $39/hr per supervisor.

Building Supervisor- The district may place a building supervisor to oversee the facility. $27/hr per supervisor.

Auditorium Technician- The use of the auditorium for lights and sound requires a technician(s) to be present. $15/hr per technician.

Groundskeeper- The use of outdoor facilities or the Rec Center during non-ice times may require the presence or additional work by the grounds staff. $32/hr per staff.

Lifeguards- Required when using the High School swimming pool.
Fees include: 
• 0-15 swimmers: 1 guard at $35/hr
• 15-35 swimmers: 2 guards at $65/hr
• 35+ require additional guards at $30/hr

*No more than 80 people are allowed in the pool at one time.
