Moms: Summer Online Conditioning CommunityFitness & WellnessThis online conditioning program is designed to build a supportive fitness community while offering the flexibility many moms need during the summer months. Participants will receive a three-month workout program with weekly guidance from the instructor. Workouts are provided Monday through Friday, with flexible options for selecting workout days to fit individual schedules. Workouts are structured around specific cardiorespiratory heart-rate zones and can be completed in a variety of ways, including walking, biking, rowing, and more—either indoors or outdoors. Each week also includes a metabolic strength-training workout. The full workout program will be provided in a paper or digital format (emailed), and participants will also receive a weekly email from the instructor for support, guidance, and accountability. A group chat option will also be available for daily encouragement, questions, and sharing workout/heart-rate progress. Heart-Rate Monitor Requirement Participants must have a heart-rate monitor to complete the program. Recommended models include the Polar H9 or Polar H10. Drop them off for an evening packed with fun—swimming, snacks, and a movie with friends.The night begins with an exciting splash in the pool, followed by a snack to refuel. After swimming, kids will settle in for a kid-friendly movie in a relaxed, fully supervised environment. It’s the perfect balance of active play and wind-down time. Please have your child arrive dressed for swimming and bring a towel. After pool time, they may change into comfortable clothes. Pillows and blankets are welcome for extra coziness during the movie. Parents must check in their child upon arrival. Early drop-offs are not permitted, and pre-registration is required. Swimmers are grouped by skill level, not necessarily by age. It is recommended to have passed Red Cross Level 4 to participate White Level (Approx. ages 12 & under): Requirement: Able to swim 25's of freestyle and backstroke. Silver Level (Approx. ages 12 & under): Requirement: Able to complete 50's in all four strokes, and 100 IM. Swimmers in this level will also be able to swim in Hutchinson with a USA Swimming Membership. A maximum of 4 practices a week are included. Age Group (Approx. ages 12 & under): This is our highest level of developmental age group competitive swimming where swimmers are proficient in all four strokes. Workouts consist of approx. 3,000 yards. Swimmers in this level will also be able to swim in Hutchinson with a USA Swimming Membership. A maximum of 5 practices a week are included. Senior Groups (Approx. ages 13 & Above): These groups are considered our competitive program for developed swimmers. Starting SoonSchool of FishSpecial EventsInstructor: Mike FrischZEBCO School of Fish is a 2½-hour fishing class for youth, beginners, and adults in grades 1 and up, taught by pro angler and Fishing the Midwest TV host Mike Frisch. Students learn about lake structure, how to locate fish throughout the seasons, and effective techniques for catching them. They’ll also practice tying a fishing knot and rigging a slip-bobber setup. To help participants hit the water with confidence, each child receives a complete fishing gear package—including a ZEBCO rod and reel, tackle box with tackle, a School of Fish hat or T-shirt, and a full-color workbook—everything needed to be “fishing ready.” One adult may attend with a child at no additional cost (and grades 1–4 are required to have an accompanying adult).
