Introduce your child to the exciting world of baseball and softball with Charger T-Ball! This program is designed for preschool-aged children (ages 4–5) and focuses on fun, fitness, and fundamental skill development in a positive and engaging environment. Each session begins with warm-ups, followed by a combination of skill-building stations and game play. Players will learn the basics of catching, throwing, fielding, base running, and batting off a tee, while also building confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game. Participants should bring: A baseball glove, wear athletic apparel and t-ball shirt, and tennis shoes. We are also seeking parent volunteer coaches to help make this program successful. No prior baseball or softball experience is required—just a willingness to encourage and support young players! Additional instruction and guidance will be provided by the program coordinator. Step up to the plate in DC Youth Summer Baseball! This program is open to boys and girls who have just completed kindergarten or first grade and is designed to introduce young players to the fundamentals of baseball in a fun, supportive, and instructional environment. Emphasis is placed on skill development, teamwork, and game play while helping players build confidence and a love for the game. Teams will practice on Sundays and play games on Wednesdays in an in-house league, allowing players to continue developing their skills throughout the season.
