Home AloneClasses/ActivitiesIs your child prepared for the responsibility of staying home alone? This class empowers children with the confidence and skills needed to handle being home alone,whether it's just for an hour or throughout the day during summer breaks. Our comprehensive curriculum includes: age-appropriate guidelines, establishing safe habits and house rules, structuring after-school routines, managing phone calls and unexpected visitors, emergency protocols for pets, personal safety and unexpected situations handling, gun safety awareness, preparing for severe weather and fire emergencies, intruder alertness, and basic first aid techniques. Students attend this class independently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen. Parents are encouraged to review the take-home information and discuss it with their child.Fall 2025

Child & Babysitting Safety ProgramClasses/ActivitiesThe Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from the American Safety and Health Institute offers comprehensive training to ensure safe and successful babysitting. It covers everything from starting a babysitting business to essential safety, caregiving, and first aid practices. Upon completing the course and meeting the core learning objectives, students receive a certification valid for two years, and instructions to access a digital copy of the Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) Student book. Students attend this class independently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen.Fall 2025
