John brings a wealth of experience, including two Coach of the Year titles and a history of success at the high school and collegiate levels (D1, D2, and D3). Under his guidance, we’ll focus on serve receive, blocking, and defense—while still covering other key skills. John and the DC coaching staff will work together to ensure a productive and high-energy week. Week 3: Two standout players from St. Cloud State University (D2) will join us to lead specialized blocking training. Sam Zimmerman, a junior middle blocker and Emma Barren, a junior setter, will be our guest coaches. From Weeks 2-5, players will have the chance to: • Develop strong volleyball fundamentals and techniques • Enhance skills, game strategy, and volleyball IQ • Compete and scrimmage in a fun, high-energy environment Middle school and high school athletes will train separately one day per week and come together for combined practices, specialty sessions, and open gym opportunities. The DC coaching staff will be leading instruction throughout the summer. To ensure an effective experience, we need at least 20 players per age group—so gather your teammates and don’t miss out! This is a fantastic opportunity to improve, compete, and grow your love for the game. We can’t wait to see you on the court! -
