Grades 3-6Instructor: Jr. High Golf Coach, Brok Huikko & other volunteers and golf members The Youth Summer Golf Program focuses on developing skills through fun activities and age-appropriate instruction, with golf fundamentals and etiquette at the core. Participants will learn the basics of grip, posture, and aim while rotating through stations at the putting green, tee box, sand trap, and driving range to practice putting, chipping, and full swings. As the program progresses, players will have increasing opportunities to spend time on the course, applying their skills through drills, contests, and fun challenges designed to build confidence and reinforce what they’ve learned. The program is open to all skill levels, though a basic understanding of the game is helpful. Our goal is to inspire young golfers to develop a passion for the sport while building self-confidence and improving their skills. Participants must provide their own equipment, including golf balls, tees, and at least a driver, putter, and three irons. Please wear comfortable clothing, athletic closed-toe shoes, and dress for the weather. Class will not be held during inclement weather and sessions will not be made up. Students with a Cokato Town & Country Club membership may participate at a reduced rate. Enrollment is limited to 40 participants, so register early to secure your spot.
