Fall 2026-2027 Grades 5 & 6This football program emphasizes both the fundamentals of tackle football and executing plays. Team rosters, assigned by coaches, will rotate weekly, allowing players to gain diverse game experience. Participants will compete against teams from the surrounding area as part of the Wright Co. Youth Football League, playing four Saturday morning games consisting of two 30-minute running halves. Parents are responsible for transporting their child to and from games. All necessary football equipment, including mouthguards, will be provided.Players only need to bring tennis shoes or cleats (no metal spikes). Personal football equipment is not permitted. Equipment and locker assignments will be distributed during the Equipment Handout on August 31. Attendance is strongly encouraged to ensure players are properly fitted before the first practice. Throughout the season, all football gear will remain in the Middle School locker room.
