Level 2 Swim Lessons

Participants will work on:

• Rotary breathing

• Swim on front & back using combined arm &

leg actions, 5 body lengths

• Back float, 15 seconds

• Front, jellyfish & tuck floats, 10 seconds

• Change direction of travel while on front or back

Water safety is a priority!
Beyond the standard skills required by the Red Cross, our water safety instructors teach additional skills to enhance children's safety and preparedness in and around water. If a child were to fall into a body of water it is imperative that they learn how to stay calm, get on their back, orientate themself (find the shore/edge of pool/boat), and get out.
