B.O.M.B. (Building Our Mind & Body) MomsFitness & WellnessInstructor: Coach Amanda Berg, Certified Strength & Conditioning SpecialistParticipate in every date and receive a full refund!Enter Main High School Door There is strength in community—especially when it comes to fitness. B.O.M.B. Moms is a supportive workout group designed for women to train and sustain together. As strength training gains popularity among aging adults, particularly women, it can be difficult to navigate the overwhelming amount of fitness information available. This course aims to cut through the noise and provide effective, guided training in a welcoming environment. What sets this course apart is Coach Berg’s approach: she works out alongside the group, using her own training time to model proper form, offer encouragement, and provide real-time coaching. As someone who loves the weight room but finds it hardest to train at the end of the day, Coach Berg created this morning program to help both herself and others stay consistent. Each session begins with a guided mobility warm-up, followed by structured strength training that includes prescribed movements and lifts. Every movement can be progressed or regressed to meet individual fitness levels, making this program accessible and challenging for all participants. Sessions conclude with a flexibility-focused cool-down. Participants will also receive two strength workouts per week to complete independently, off-site and on alternate days from in-person sessions. Motivation gets us started, Dedication keeps us going! If participation is strong, another session will be offered in November.Fall 2026 -

Basketball: TravelingBasketballGrades 4-6Dassel-Cokato Youth Basketball Assn. (DCYBA) & Parent Volunteer Coaches The DC Charger Basketball League is a competitive traveling basketball program for athletes in grades 4–6 who are ready to advance their skills beyond the recreational level. Designed to prepare players for future school and travel basketball opportunities, this program emphasizes individual skill development, basketball IQ, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a commitment to continuous improvement. While player development remains the primary focus, athletes will be challenged through structured practices and competitive game experiences that help prepare them for higher levels of play in the years ahead. The season runs from November through early March, with teams typically practicing 1–2 times per week. League play takes place in the Hwy 55 League, where teams generally compete in two games most Saturdays throughout the season. Fourth-grade teams will participate in the Hwy 55 League and the home DC Charger Classic Tournament (January 30) for their competitive schedule. Fifth- and sixth-grade teams will participate in the Hwy 55 League, the DC Charger Classic Tournament (Girls: January 30; Boys: January 31), and additional tournaments scheduled at the discretion of coaches and program leadership throughout the season to provide increased competition and development opportunities. Players will also have the opportunity to perform during halftime of a home varsity basketball game, with participating players and their parents receiving complimentary admission. Families should understand that this program requires a significantly greater commitment than previous recreational basketball experiences. Consistent attendance at practices, games, and tournaments is expected, as team development and player growth depend on regular participation. Parents are responsible for providing transportation to and from all practices, games, and tournaments, which may be held at various locations throughout the area. This program is intended for athletes who enjoy basketball, are motivated to improve, and are ready to commit to a more competitive environment. Previous basketball experience and a basic understanding of the game are strongly recommended. Practice Schedule: Practices will begin early November with dates/times depending on gym availability. Practice schedules will be posted on the Community Education website approx. 2 weeks before the start of practice.
