Cars have changed. So have traffic rules, driving conditions and the roads you travel every day. Some drivers aged 50-plus have never looked back since they got their first driver’s license, but even the most experienced drivers can benefit from refreshing their driving skills. By taking a driver refresher course you’ll learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques and how to operate your vehicle more safely in today’s increasingly challenging driving environment. Some topics that will be covered include: effects of medication on driving, how to reduce driver distractions, maintaining proper following distance, use of safety belts, air bags, anti-lock brakes and new technology, how to handle left turns, right-of-way, and roundabouts as well as age-related changes and how to adjust your driving to compensate. Upon completion of the course, you may be eligible to receive a multi-year auto insurance discount. Consult your agent for details. 2025-2026 School Year Grade 4 (Fall 2026 Grade 5) Instructor: MS Band Director Jay Downie Get a jump start on middle school band all before the school year begins. By taking lessons in the summer students will learn the fundamentals of playing a band instrument. Lessons will start at the basics with how to properly assemble their instrument, making a proper sound and become familiar with the first several pages in their method book. Method books are required as part of MS Band and they can be purchased at the beginning of summer lessons from the instructor. If a student did not participate in the band tryout sessions mid-April and are still interested in joining band a tryout session can be scheduled with the instructor before the end of the school year. If a current middle schooler, grade 5-8, has not participated in band previously they could enroll in these lessons in preparation of joining band this upcoming school year. Please Note: If students are using a personal instrument instead of renting from Eckroth Music, please make sure it is in good working order prior to lessons beginning so that your students has the best experience.

All boys and girls in grades K-1 are invited to join us for a fun and safe introduction to basketball through our recreational Saturday program. Participants will learn basic basketball skills and enjoy playing in a supportive environment. As a highlight, players will have the exciting opportunity to participate during halftime of a home varsity basketball game (date to be determined). Both players and parents will receive free admission to this game. We look forward to seeing everyone on the court! As part of the program, all first-time players will receive their own 27.5" basketball. Returning players who no longer have their youth ball should either purchase a new one or bring their own, clearly labeled.

The council is made up of volunteer parents dedicated to strengthening opportunities for our youngest learners. All proceeds from vendor booth fees and kitchen food sales directly support community early literacy enhancements, Play and Learn Preschool and Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) scholarships, classroom needs, playground upkeep, community outreach, and more. REGISTRATION • Vendors are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all spaces are full. • ALL items sold must be handcrafted. • There are no restrictions on the number of vendors selling the same type of craft item. Fall 2026-2027 Grades 5 & 6This football program emphasizes both the fundamentals of tackle football and executing plays. Team rosters, assigned by coaches, will rotate weekly, allowing players to gain diverse game experience. Participants will compete against teams from the surrounding area as part of the Wright Co. Youth Football League, playing four Saturday morning games consisting of two 30-minute running halves. Parents are responsible for transporting their child to and from games. All necessary football equipment, including mouthguards, will be provided.Players only need to bring tennis shoes or cleats (no metal spikes). Personal football equipment is not permitted.
